Golf that Gives!
For many years, we’ve been fortunate to be featured in the annual Champions for Youth campaign that runs annually through December and January.
The Century Club of San Diego operates San Diego’s annual PGA TOUR event, The Farmers Insurance Open. A nonprofit itself, the Century Club has a charitable mission and seeks to maximize the high-profile event’s benefit to the local community—particularly, at-risk youth organizations.
Donations made during the Champions for Youth campaign are matched, helping your donations go further!
In 2023, we raised nearly $200,000 from over 582 donors including the bonus earned from Farmers Insurance.
In addition, Farmers Insurance, the event sponsor, provided a grant to fund our much needed Graduation Bags. These bags are given to a youth upon graduation from our outpatient services. And Farmers employees and agents assembled bags and included items like sensory toys, stress balls, pens, pencils, composition books, play doh, colored pencils, crayons and much more.
The contents are meant to provide the youth and family with the items needed to continue with the intervention they were taught throughout our services.
